Michael Caven

Michael Caven has a long career of community activism and business entrepreneurship. The co-owner of Out On Main Restaurant and Main Street Investments, Michael helped transform the culinary and real estate landscape in Columbus, Ohio.  His board commitments included: Capital Crossroads District, Downtown South, Stonewall Community Center and co-founder of the FLIP Foundation and the Legacy Fund at the Columbus Foundation. 

In recent years in Center City, Philadelphia, Michael founded Caven Real Estate Associates LP, purchased an old apartment house at 16th and Pine and converted the building to six condominiums.  He also did stints at the Joseph J Peter’s Institute working with juvenile offenders and developing the Senior outreach and education programs at William Way Community Center. 

Michael currently focuses on real estate marketing and sales, working primarily with investors, developers and first-time home buyers. 

Michael earned a Master of Science in Social Agency Social Work and Counseling at the University of Dayton. He shares a home near Avenue of the Arts with his partner of nearly five years.
