A. Michelle Campbell
Michelle Campbell has practiced in both the public and private sectors as a trial attorney. Ms. Campbell commenced her trial experience representing adults and juveniles in criminal matters as an assistant public defender in Philadelphia. She currently represents adult and juvenile clients in both state and federal criminal proceedings. Her areas of practice also include family matters, including divorce, child support and custody; employment litigation, and wills and trusts. Ms. Campbell has volunteered for indigent clients in immigration and real estate matters.
Ms. Campbell was a law clerk for Justice H. DuPont Ridgely when he served as President Judge of the Delaware Superior Court. She has also served as a clerk for Judge Linda Caracappa, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Campbell was an elementary school teacher in Micronesia.
She is a founder of Independence Charter School (www.independentcharter.org) a bi-lingual elementary school, and served as both a former board member and vice president. She has volunteered for Action Aids and the Monteverde Conservation League in Costa Rica.
Ms. Campbell received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School. |
