mission
The mission of the Zoeza Institute is to lead foster and other non-traditional care youth to independent, self-sufficient living through long-term mentoring.
Using a research-based educational intervention model, the Institute is able to facilitate the successful transition of these disadvantaged youth into productive careers and independent living by:
-
Establishing long-term, high-touch, sustainable mentor relationships;
-
Incorporating “strength-based” basic education instruction;
-
Improving social acumen and confidence;
-
Providing vocation-specific skills through training, development and apprenticeships; and
-
Providing ongoing access to a comprehensive resource portal that offers professional network and information services.
